Approach is licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. It applies to your use of the iPhone app.
Practice minutes
Practice-minute packs are consumable In-App Purchases processed by Apple. Minutes do not expire, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred between accounts. Your session clock starts when Maya first speaks.
Early access packs bought on the web
Before launch you can pre-order practice minutes on approachpractice.app. Payment is processed by Stripe on behalf of Wizrd On-Demand Technologies Inc., the company behind Approach; the charge appears on your statement with the APPROACH suffix. A web pack is a pre-order of a digital service: the minutes are delivered to your Approach account when you link your Apple ID, and they can be used once the Approach iPhone app is available on the App Store. We expect that by 15 November 2026. If the app is not available by 1 December 2026, we refund every web pre-order in full to the original payment method, without you having to ask.
You can cancel a web pre-order for any reason within 14 days of purchase and get a full refund: email the address below from the address you paid with. Web-pack minutes never expire, have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and are forfeited if you delete your account. If you cancel after the app is live and you have already used minutes from the pack, we refund the unused portion. Web packs contain the same practice-minute items that are sold in the app; only the quantity per price differs during early access. Refunds remove the refunded minutes from your balance.
The service
Approach provides AI-generated conversation practice. Responses may be inaccurate or unexpected, and the service is not professional, medical, or mental-health advice. Service availability and features may change over time.
